6.2 Functional testing

You can check the function of the rotor and the stator from the LEDs on the
stator.

6.2.1 Rotor status LED 1 (upper LED)

Green (pulsating)
Flashing orange
Pulsating orange
Red (pulsating)
Pulsating means that every second, the LED goes dark for about 20 ms (sign
of life), making it possible to detect that the device is functioning.

6.2.2 Stator status LED 2 (lower LED)

Green (permanently lit)
Green and then
temporarily orange if
there is a synchronization
error. For many
synchronization errors:
Permanently orange
Orange (permanently lit)
Red (permanently lit)
HBM
LED1 Rotorstatus
LED2 Statorstatus
Internal voltage values ok
Rotor and stator mismatched (an increasing flashing frequency
indicates the degree of misalignment)
=> Correct the rotor/stator alignment
Rotor status cannot be defined
=> Correct the rotor/stator alignment
If the LED still pulsates orange, it is possible that there is a
hardware defect. Measurement signals take the level of the error
state.
Incorrect rotor voltage values. Align correctly. If still incorrect, check
whether hardware is defective. Measurement signals take the level
of the error state.
Measurement signal transmission and internal stator voltages ok
Orange until end of incorrect transmission, if y 5 measurement
values in sequence are incorrectly transmitted. The measurement
signals take the level of the error state for the duration of the
transmission error + about 3.3 ms.
Permanently disrupted transmission =>Measurement signals
Measurement signals take the level of the error state. (fout = 0 Hz,
Uout = defect level), correct the rotor/stator alignment
Internal stator malfunction =>measurement signals are switched
accordingly ( = 0 Hz, U
