2. Install the front panel I/O cable with bracket into the chassis and fasten it to the chassis with the screw.

3. Reinstall all parts that you have removed one by one in the reversed sequence as you remove them.
Refer to the related topics in Chapter 9 "Installing or replacing hardware" on page 99.
4. Refer to the cable routing and cable connection information that you have recorded and connect all
cables back to the system board. See "Parts on the system board" on page 35.

Internal speaker

Attention: Do not open your computer or attempt any repair before reading and understanding the Chapter
1 "Read this first: Important safety information" on page 1.
To replace the internal speaker, do the following:
1. Prepare your computer. See "Preparing your computer and removing the computer cover" on page 99.
2. Remove the direct cooling air baffle. See "Direct cooling air baffle" on page 101.
3. Remove the optical-drive bracket. See "Optical-drive bracket" on page 122.
4. Locate the internal speaker. See "Major FRUs and CRUs" on page 33.
5. Disconnect the internal speaker cable from the system board. See "Parts on the system board"
on page 35.
6. Remove the system board. See "System board" on page 173.
