Registration

This menu allows you to synchronize the live ultrasound image with the
3D volume from the 2nd modality.
WARNING
Make sure to use the same patient data imported from other modalities.
WARNING
After performing one of the following registration methods, please make
sure to redo the registration procedure if the transmitter has moved
after the first registration has been done. Redo it especially if the
omniTRAX™ patient tracker has not been used and the movement
correction is not activated.
The registered slice of the 3D volume from the 2nd modality appears on
the right side of the screen.
The live ultrasound image appears on the left side of the screen.

One Plane Registration

1. Click on the One Plane tab of the Registration module and select the
plane of interest in the 2nd modality 3D volume:
• Use the thumbnails at the bottom of the screen to select the
appropriate MPR view to be used
• Click on Scroll
through the 3D volume
2. Scan the patient with the ultrasound probe in order to find the same
plane of interest
