Preparing the Probe for the
Exam
This section indicates the steps to follow to properly prepare the probe for
the exams, as well as how to position the omniTRAX™, VirtuTRAX™
and eTRAX™ devices if needed.
Attaching the Bracket to the
Transducer
WARNING
Make sure to clean, disinfect and sterilize the re-usable bracket before
each use, according to the recommendations in the Chapter 7, System
Care & Maintenance [101].
If the bracket does not fit properly, do not use it.
Once mounted, do not use the bracket if it is rotating or moving on the
probe. Or if the sensor is rotating or moving on the bracket.
Please verify periodically that the bracket is not damaged and fits the
probe properly without moving.
