Functions and use of device (model SKT 2)
Heating element controller SKT 2 has been designed to heat up interiors via the use
of an external temperature sensor. Additionally, it has a DRYER function which
enables drying of towels and clothes. In a situation where the device is expected to
heat independently from the temperature inside the room, the controller can be
configured to regulate the heat output. All of these features make SKT 2 universal,
straight-forward and user-friendly.

Buttons ▽ and △ allow you to choose one of 5 temperature settings (or heat output
– please see a detailed description below of how to set required heating output).
The quantity of diodes that are on indicate the current temperature setting.

is on, the device heats consistently at 80% of its nominal heat output, regardless of
the current setting. "Dryer time" will heat consistently for 2 hours. After that, the
dryer automatically turns itself off and the device returns to the setting it used prior
to dryer mode.

SELECTION OF REGULATION MODE
The device has two regulation mode options:
TEMPERATURE REGULATION MODE (manufacturer's default mode) – device
reads current room temperature and collates it with the current setting indicated by
diodes, (settings range from 20° to 26°C). Advanced temperature regulation
algorithm steers the average heat output (by turning the device on and off
regularly) and maintains the set temperature by adjusting electricity uptake to
current room conditions.
HEATING OUTPUT REGULATION MODE During normal use, SKT 2 heats with
current medium heat output regardless of external conditions (room temperature).
Respective settings refer to the following values: 30%, 50%, 70%, 90% and 100%
of nominal heat output.
Please follow the below steps in order to adjust regulation mode:
1. Hold
q
button for about 7 seconds until the 3 diodes in the same line turn on.
Diodes arranged horizontally indicate TEMPERATURE REGULATION MODE.
Diodes arranged vertically indicate HEAT OUTPUT REGULATION MODE.
2. In order to adjust the settings, press the
automatically indicated by the diodes.
3. After 10 seconds the device goes back to its normal function according to the
latest mode.
Construction of the device (PTC heating element) protects the user from burning
risk by limiting the temperature of the radiator to 60°C automatically, regardless of
its current setting, (provided that heat output of the heating element has been
correctly matched with the heat output of the radiator).
ANTI-FREEZE FUNCTION (Anti-Freeze protection)
If the device is turned off and temperature around the temperature sensor drops
down below 6°C, the device will turn on automatically in order to protect heating
medium from freezing. This is indicated by flashing of the centre diode.
