7. 17 Multifunktionshandstück
(Bohrer/Säge)

Die UNIDRIVE S III ARTHRO Steuereinheit ist
in der Lage, ein Multifunktionshandstück anzu-
treiben. Das Handstück kann an Bohrfutter,
Sagittal sägen usw. angebracht werden. Eine Liste
der erhältlichen Zubehörteile befindet sich im ent-
sprechenden Kapitel dieser Gebrauchsan weisung.
Die Zubehörteile werden mit dem Handstück
verbunden, indem Zubehörteil und Handstück
zusammengefügt werden, bis fester Kontakt her-
gestellt ist. Zum Entfernen den hinteren Teil der
oberen Taste t drücken.
In den kanülierten Antrieb passen Drahtstifte von
bis zu 3,2 mm (0,125 Inch) Durchmesser.
Der UNIDRIVE ® S III ARTHRO ermöglicht, dass
die Geschwindigkeit des Handstücks durch
Bewegen des Abzugshahns r gesteuert wird. Die
Geschwindigkeit des Handstücks (UPM) verhält
sich proportional zur Position des Abzugshahns.
Maximale Geschwindigkeit wird durch Eindrücken
des Abzugshahns bis zum Anschlag am
Handstück erzielt.
1 HINWEIS: Das Multifunktionshandstück
stoppt automatisch nach einer Dauerbe-
triebszeit von ca. 5 Minuten. Loslassen und
erneutes Betätigen des Fußschalterpedals
oder des Abzugshahns am Handstück star-
tet das Multifunktionshandstück wieder.

The UNIDRIVE S III ARTHRO control unit is
capable of driving a multifunction handpiece. This
handpiece may be attached to drill chucks, sagit-
tal saws, etc. A list of available accessories is
shown in a separate section of this manual.
Each accessory is connected to the handpiece by
attaching the accessory and handpiece together
until solid contact is made. Press the rear of the
button on the top t of the handpiece to remove
the accessory.
The motor is cannulated and accepts pins up to
0.125 inches (3.2 mm) in diameter.
The UNIDRIVE ® S III ARTHRO allows the speed of
the handpiece to be controlled by moving the trig-
ger r . The speed (rpm) of the handpiece is pro-
portional to the position of the trigger. Pushing
the trigger all the way in toward the handpiece
provides the maximum speed.
1 NOTE: The multifunction handpiece stops
automatically after a continuous operating
period of approx. 5 minutes. Releasing
and pressing the footswitch pedal or
trigger on the handpiece again restarts the
multifunction handpiece.
