INSTALLATION
The valves have been preas-
sembled and tested at the facto-
ry.
INSTALLATION OF THE VALVE
DIRECTLY ON THE SILO
1. Check to make sure the sur-
face on which the valve is to
be fixed (container cover) is
fixed horizontally.
2. Unpack the valve.
3. Check the tightening torque
of the eyebolts present on the
valve cover to make sure it is
19÷24 Nm.
4. Trace a hole equal to the in-
ner diameter of the valve
housing, on the top of the silo.
5. After drilling the hole, use the
valve housing tot rac e the
holes of the flange on the top
of the silo.
6. Make the holes for the flang-
ing.
N.B. The cutting and welding
operations must be carried out
by qualified persons.
Suitable Hot-Works procedures
(such as cutting, welding...) and
LOTO – lockout/tagout: machine
disconnection procedure (elec-
trical and mechanical segrega-
tion), must be applied for safe
installation of the valve.
Authorization for operations us-
ing heat MUST be given by spe-
cialist technical personnel trained
in the risk of dust explosions (ca-
pable of checking the residual
risk, the suitability of the tools
and understanding of the pro-
cedures).
1. Apply a thin layer of sealant
liquid between the surface of
the silo and the valve flange.
2. Fix the valve body to the top
of the silo using bolts and
tighten the nuts by applying a
torque of 35 - 36 Nm.

Die Klappen sind werksseitig
komplett vormontiert und getestet.
INSTALLATION DES VENTILS DI-
REKT AUF DEM SILO
1. Sicherstellen, dass die Ober-
fläche, auf der das Ventil be-
festigt wird (Silodeckel) ganz
horizontal steht.
2. Das Ventil auspacken.
3. Das Anzugsmoment der Ring-
schrauben auf dem Deckel
des Ventils prüfen. Es muss
19-24 Nm ausmachen.
4. Oben auf dem Silo ein Loch
anreißen, das dem Innen-
durchmes ser des Ventil-
gehäuses entspricht.
5. Wenn das Loch gebohrt wor-
den ist, das Ventilgehäuse
benutzen, um oben auf dem
Silo die Löc her f ür den
Flansch anzuzeichnen.
6. Die Löcher der Flans ch-
befestigung bohren.
Anm.: Schneiden und Schweißen
müssen durch qualifiziertes Per-
sonal ausgeführt werden. Geeig-
nete Prozeduren für «Hot-Works»
(wie Schneiden, Schweißen) und
LOTO – lockout/tagout: Prozedu-
ren zum Abtrennen der Maschine
(elektrische und mechanische
Trennung) müssen für die siche-
re Installation des Ventils ange-
wendet werden.
Die Autorisation für die Ausfüh-
rung der W armarbeiten MUSS
durch spezialisiertes technisches
Personal ausgeführt werden, das
über die Staubexplosionsgefahr
geschult ist (das in der Lage ist,
das Restrisiko zu beurteilen, ge-
eignetes Werkzeug zu wählen und
die Prozeduren zu kennen).
1. Zwischen der Silooberfläche
und den Ventilflansch eine
dünne Schicht
Versiegelungsmasse anbrin-
gen.
2. Das Ventilgehäuse mit Schrau-
ben oben auf dem Silo anbrin-
gen und die Muttern mit einem
Anzugsmoment von 36-46 Nm
anziehen.

INSTALACE VENTILU PŘÍMO
NA STŘECHU SILA
1. Zkontrolujte zda povrch, na
který bude ventil namontován
(kryt zásobníku), je upevněn
horizontálně.
2. Vybalte ventil.
3. Zkontrolujte utažení šroubů
na krytu ventilu a ujistěte se,
zda je v rozmezí 19÷24 Nm.
4. Na střechu sila vyznačte
kruh
shodný
s
vnitřním
rozměrem ventilu.
5. Poté c o vyvrtáte otvor,
použíjte
tělo
ventilu
vyznačení otvorů příruby na
střeše sila.
6.
Vyvrtejte
otvory
pro
obrubování
Pozn. Sváření a řezání musí
být prováděno kvalifikovaným
personálem.

INSTALLAZIONE DELLA VAL-
VOLA DIRETTAMENTE AL SILO
1. Verificare che la superficie su
cui andrà fissata la valvola
(coperchio del contenitore)
sia perfettamente orizzonta-
le.
2. Togliere la valvola dall'imbal-
lo.
3. Verificare la coppia di serrag-
gio dei golfari posti sul coper-
chio della valvola a 19÷24 Nm.
4. Tracciare un foro pari al dia-
metro interno del corpo val-
k
vola, sulla sommità del silo.
5. Una volta eseguita la foratu-
ra, utilizzare il corpo della val-
vola, per tracciare i fori della
flangia, sulla sommità del silo.
6. Eseguire i fori della flangiatu-
ra.
N.B. Le procedure di taglio e di
saldatura devono essere effet-
tuate da personale qualificato.
Idonee procedure di Hot-Works,
(quali taglio, saldatura...) e LOTO
- lockout/tagout: procedura di
disconnessione della macchina
(segregazione elettrica e mec-
canica), dovranno essere appli-
cate per l'installazione in sicu-
rezza della valvola. L'autorizza-
zione all'esecuzione dei lavori a
caldo DEVE essere data da per-
sonale tecnico specializzato e
formato sul rischio esplosione da
(
polveri (in grado di verificare il
rischio residuo, l'idoneità degli
utensili la conoscenza delle pro-
cedure).
1. Interporre tra la superficie del
silo e la flangia della valvola
un sottile strato di liquido si-
gillante.
2. Fissare il corpo della valvola
sulla sommità del silo tramite i
bulloni forniti e serrare i dadi
ad una coppia di 36÷46 Nm.
