3.7 Safety equipment

Never remove or modify the machine's safety equipment.
If you need to dismantle safety equipment during tooling, maintenance and repairs, always refit and check the safety
equipment immediately after completing the maintenance and repair work.
Safety equipment may only be repaired, adjusted or replaced by persons authorised to do so.
All devices with a safety or accident prevention function (warning signs and notices, covers and safety gates etc.) must
be in place. They must not be removed, modified or damaged.

3.8 Protective equipment

To mitigate the risk of injury and fatal injury to persons, the following protective equipment is mandatory in the machi-
ne work area:
• Safety helmet
• Safety goggles
• Safety gloves
• Safety boots

3.9 Risk of injury - residual risk

The machine has been built to reflect the current state of the art and comply with accepted safety regulations. Despite
this, using the machine can pose a risk to life and limb of the operating staff or third parties, and result in deterioration
of the machine or other objects.
In case of improper use, the following injuries can occur:
• Risk of crushing and knocks when installing the machine
• electrical contact (including fatal injury) with electrical equipment. If not properly connected or in case of damage to
electrical assemblies.
• Noise impairment for persons without hearing protection for extended periods in the vicinity of the machine.
• Injuries due to unauthorised starting or use of the machine.
• Injuries due to tripping over cables, hoses, armouring materials.
• Risk of burns on hot machine parts. These include the drive motor and spiral pump.
• Risk to health due to inhaling particles of dust, or cleaning agents, solvents and preservatives.
• Eye and skin injuries due to mortar splatter or other chemical agents.

3.10 Risk of crushing and knocks

The following risks exist at the machine in the following operating modes:
• Installation
• Commissioning
• Operation
• Cleaning, troubleshooting, maintenance
• Removal

Transporting the machine
The machine's basis equipment comprises five individual assemblies: drive unit, pump unit, compressor, control unit
and tubular chassis. Each assembly has an individual weight of less than 35 kg and can be moved without special
transportation aids or lifting gear. Ensure that the required transport locks are in place when transporting the machine!

3.11 Electrical contact

The following risks exist at the control unit, the electrical cables and the drive motor in the following operating modes:
• Commissioning
• Operation
• Cleaning, troubleshooting, maintenance
• Decommissioning
Danger of fatal injury due to electrical contact.
All electrical assemblies are protected in line with IEC 60204 Part 1 or DIN 40050 IEC 144 to comply with protection
class IP44 as a factory standard.
Use only original fuses with the correct rating! Use of fuses with too high a rating, or short circuits can cause perma-
nent damage to the machine.
