All work on the electrical equipment of the machine must be performed a qualified electrician, or trained
persons under the guidance and supervision of an electrician in line with electro-technical rules.

3.12 Workplace and surrounding area

The workplace is the place occupied by persons to perform their work.
Operator
The machine can be operated by a single person in all operating modes.
The workplace is at the control unit of the PS 40 Compact Feed Pump.
The work area is the area in which the pumped material can be fed by the PS 40 Compact Feed Pump via the mortar
hose and applied using a spraying nozzle.
The work area and the area surrounding the machine must be secured against entry by unauthorised persons during
work. If necessary, display warning signs and use a safety fence.

3.13 Behaviour in case of emergency

In case of emergency immediately switch off the machine using the ON/OFF switch.
For more details, refer to the chapter: „Operation", section „Disabling the machine in case of emergency".
In case of malfunctions, immediately disable and secure the machine! Remedy malfunctions without delay!

3.14 Environmental protection

Dispose of used materials such as oils, filters, batteries, replacement parts etc. in a responsible manner. You
should also dispose of wipes in a responsible manner.

3.15 Noise emission

The following risks exist at the machine in the following operating modes:
• Commissioning
• Operation
• Cleaning, troubleshooting, maintenance
• Removal
• Noise emission.
Refer to the Technical Specifications for the sound pressure level in the vicinity of the machine.
As of 85 dB (A) we recommend wearing hearing protection; employers should offer staff hearing protection
as of this value, although this is not a legal requirement. As of 90 dB (A) you are legally required to wear
hearing protection.
Wear mandatory personal hearing protection!
Owner/operator
Instruct your staff to wear personal hearing protection at all times. As the owner/operator, you are personally
responsible for your staff observing this regulation.
All noise insulation devices must be in place and in good working order. During operation, these devices
must be in protection position. An increased noise level can cause a permanent hearing impairment.
