ATTENTION
The recommended procedure is to remove the plugs only immediately before
connecting the pipes in order to protect the threaded connections. Otherwise,
foreign matter or solids could enter the pump and block or damage the internal
parts of the pump.
The pump is not permitted to convey freely and requires counterpressure. Only
operate the pump when connected to the TurboWash! Never operate without
nozzles in the TurboWash.
During continuous operation, the pump should only be used in ventilated
rooms to allow the heat emitted by the motor to escape. The ambient tem-
perature should not exceed 60 °C. Depending on the operating conditions
and the selected motor, the surface temperature of the motor can reach up to
85 °C. We therefore recommend either providing protection against accidental
contact with the motor or affixing appropriate warning notices on the machine.
The motor - pump assembly should preferably be installed with horizontal
shaft. Also make sure that there are no live parts under the pump or parts that
could be damaged in case of a possible liquid leakage.
Power supply connection
The pump is connected to the ColorFree top separator unit with the earthed
plug to the earthed socket provided for the pump. See ColorFree top operating
instructions.
Operating conditions
Do not use flammable, corrosive or acidic liquids that could damage the inte-
grity of the pump.
Under no circumstances may the pump be modified in terms of its equipment
or fittings. Changes or interventions of any kind may damage or destroy the
pump. The warranty conditions apply.
Notes on correct use of the pump
The pump may only be mounted and operated in accordance with its intended
use on the motor provided by STORCH for this purpose and the intended appli-
cation.
The pump may only be used to pump fresh water from the mains water supply.
