C 5.2 Dichtheit, Hochstrombelastung
Klemmenkästen regelmäßig auf Dichtheit, unbeschädigte Isolation
und feste Anschlußverbindungen hin überprüfen.
Falls der Klemmenkasten extremer Hochstrombelastung ausgesetzt
wurde, wird dringend empfohlen, die Isolatoren, Anschlußteile und
Leitungsverbindungen zu überprüfen.
Wenn in den Klemmenkasten Staub oder Feuchtigkeit eingedrungen
sein sollte, den Kasten und insbesondere die Isolatoren reinigen
bzw. trocknen. Außerdem Dichtungen bzw. Dichtflächen prüfen und
die Ursache der Undichtheit beseitigen.
C 5.3 Maschine abbauen
Falls die Maschine (z. B. zwecks Reparaturen) demontiert werden
soll, ist es bei Klemmenkästen mit abschraubbarer Einführungsplat-
te oder abschraubbarem Kabelstutzen eventuell zweckmäßig, die
Anschlußleitungen an den Klemmen und die Kabeleinführung vom
Klemmenkastengehäuse zu lösen. So bleibt die jeweilige Lage der
Leitungen zueinander sowie die wirksame Abdichtung der Leitungen
in den Kabeleinführungen weitgehend erhalten.
C 5.4 Ersatzteile
Falls mehrere Klemmenkästen an der Maschine angebaut sind,
geben Sie bitte bei der Ersatzteilbestellung außer den üblichen
Angaben (Teil-Bezeichnung und Teil-Nr. laut Legende, Typ und -Fer-
tigungsnummer des Motors) zusätzlich auch die Typenbezeichnung
des Klemmenkastens gemäß dieser Betriebsanleitung an.

C 5.2 Tightness, high-current loading
The terminal boxes should be inspected regularly to ensure that they
are tight, that the insulation is undamaged and that the connections
are firmly attached.
If the terminal box is subject to extremely high current loading it
is recommended that the insulators, connecting parts and cable
connectors be checked.
If any dust or moisture has penetrated the terminal box, clean and
dry out the box and especially the insulators. The seals and sealing
surfaces should also be checked and the cause of faulty sealing
should be remedied.
C 5.3 Dismantling the machine
If the machine is to be dismantled (e.g. for repair), it is recommended
that the connection leads be disconnected from the terminals and
the cable entry from the terminal box housing in the case of terminal
boxes with attached cable entry plates or removable cable supports.
As a result of this measure the cable arrangement and the sealing
of the cables at the cable entries is normally maintained.
C 5.4 Spare Parts
If several different terminal boxes are attached to the machine, plea-
se state in case of ordering spare parts beside the usual definitions
(part designation and associated part number acc. to the parts list,
type and serial number of the machine) as a supplementary defini-
tion the type designation of the terminal box in question as given in
these operating instructions.
