5.2 The Subjective Perception of Load: the Borg-scale

For specific performance evaluation and patient care, the variobike 550/550C is equipped with the so-
called Borg-scale. Once training has been completed, the variobike display asks the patient to evaluate
his own subjective perception of the strain. This in turn helps you to evaluate the training correctly.
Select one of the stages
• very very strong

• a little stronger easy
• easy
• very easy
• very very easy
with the cursor control buttons, and
confirm with control button „ENTER".
Only when completing the Borg-scale query, the training data are stored by the variobike 550/
550C.
