A. Automatic Control via PC-ECG or ECG Recorder
Connect Variobike 500/550C with PC or ECG recorder
For external control, select option „PC Operation" in „MAIN MENU"
and confirm this setting by pressing control button „ENTER". In PC operation, the ergometry
mode with graphical display of load and heart rate trend is selected.
All program buttons - except for control button „END" - have no function in PC mode.
By pressing control button „END", the PC mode may be disabled again.
Start the exercise program at the PC or the ECG recorder.
B. Automatic Course of Ergometry via the Internal Programs
In „MAIN MENU", select program mode „Ergometry" via the cursor control buttons
and confirm by pressing control button „ENTER".
Select menu point „Applic. Prog."
and confirm by pressing control button „ENTER".
Confirm menu point „Prog. Number"
confirm with control button „ENTER" - the current program no. is flashing now.
Select the requested program no. via the cursor control buttons
and confirm by pressing control button „ENTER".
Start the Ergometry :
Press control button „START". Ergometry begins with initial load Po.
Terminate Ergometry :
Press control button „END". The on-going ergometry is terminated, and
Recovery Phase with predefined recovery load, e.g. 25 W and a period of 2 min begins.
By pressing control button „END" during the recovery phase once more,
the recovery phase is terminated immediately.
