Operation: Ergometry Control

4.1 Ergometry Control via PC - ECG or ECG Recorder

For PC- operation, please refer to Chap. 3.4.

4.2 Ergometry Control: Control via the Internal Programs

The course of the ergometry:
Each ergometry begins with an initial load value Po, which lasts according to the length of the step or
ramp time. In this way the patient´s circulation can get used to the load slowly. Then the load value is
increasing in stages or steadily, like a ramp.
Once the load stages of the ergometry are completed, the recovery phase starts with the recovery load
set via the program. The length of this phase depends upon the set step/ramp time.
Select program type "Ergometry" in "MAIN MENU" via the cursor control buttons,
and confirm with control button „ENTER".
Select menu point „Applic. Prog.",
and confirm with control button „ENTER".
In case another program number is desired, confirm
menu point „Prog. Number" with control button „ENTER"
- the program number is flashing now.
Select program no. via cursor control buttons
and confirm with control button „ENTER".
The respective settings can be checked in the menu
displayed (see example shown for program number 1).
Start ergometry :
Press control button „START".
Subsequently, the ergometry display is called-up with
graphical display of load and pulse trend.
The patient should start pedaling.
