The following measured values are displayed during the ergometry course:

During ergometry, two curves are displayed on the screen. The fine line is the Pulse Rate Trend, the
thick line is the Load Trend. The graphical depiction shows clearly the course of the ergometry.
The Load Trend shows always the actual load delivered by the patient; in case the patient could not
sustain the load level, this reflects in the load trend.
Terminate load stage phase of ergometry process:
Press control button „END". The load stage phase of the ergometry process is terminated,
and the Recovery phase with defined recovery load, e.g. 25 W and 2 min period begins.
The duration of the recovery period depends on the step or ramp length.
The patient should continue to pedal at a low load value (e.g. 25 Watt) so that the pulse returns
slowly to normal values, so that there is no buildup of blood at the extremities (muscle pump).
By pressing control button „END" once more during the recovery phase,
the recovery phase is terminated immediately.
The ergometry display window is closed by pressing control button „END" after recovery phase.

4.3 Ergometry process: Manual Control

If necessary, the automatic ergometry control can be disrupted.

Press control button „STOP". Thereby, the manual mode is enabled. The manual
mode is indicated by flashing of the current load.
By means of the cursor control buttons, the load can now be manually adjusted as
desired in steps of 5 Watts. The new load is immediately applied, however, the
graphical load trend display is only updated after confirming with "START".
Then confirm this load setting with control button "START". The automatic operation
continues with Load Step and Duration of Ramp/Step as programmed.
