Operational Handling: Settings

3.1 Definition of an Ergometry Program

An ergometry program is defined as follows:
Select program type „Ergometry" in "MAIN MENU" via the cursor control buttons
and confirm with control button „ENTER".
Select menu point „Defining Prog."
and confirm with control button „ENTER".
Confirm menu point „Prog. Number" and
confirm with control button „ENTER" - the program number is flashing now.
Select the requested program no. via the cursor control buttons
and confirm with control button „ENTER".
Select the menu point „Load Form" with the cursor control buttons and
confirm with control button „ENTER"
- alternating, the setting is changing between „STEP" and „RAMP".
Select menu point „Init. Load" with the cursor control buttons, and
confirm with control button „ENTER".
The settings menu „INITIAL LOAD" is called.
The initial load can be adjusted in steps of 5 W in the range of 10 - 150 Watts.
Confirm requested initial load with control button „ENTER".
Select menu point „Load Step" with the cursor control buttons and
confirm with control button „ENTER".
The settings menu „LOAD OF STEP" is called.
The load increase can be set in steps of 5 W in the range of 5 - 50 Watts.
Confirm requested load increase by pressing control button „ENTER".
Select menu point „Dur. of Ramp" or „Dur. of Step" with the cursor control buttons and
confirm with control button „ENTER".
The settings menu „DUR. OF RAMP" or „DUR. OF STEP" is called.
The ramp interval /step interval can be set in steps of 1 minute in the range of 1 - 5 minutes.
Confirm requested ramp interval /step interval with control button „ENTER".
Select menu point „Rec. Load" with the cursor control buttons, and
confirm with control button „ENTER".
The settings menu „REC. LOAD" is called.
The load during the recovery phase can be set in steps of 5 W in the range of 10 - 150 Watts.
Confirm requested recovery load with control button „ENTER".
After carrying out all requested settings, the program definition for the current program no.
