[D000259] 13.1. INSTALLATION SEQUENCE
Fig. 1.1.
Assemble all the elements of the drive unit rail.
Fig.3.
Install the catch plate for the "Ru" up-and-over door leaf. The catch
plate is mounted in the middle of the door leaf.
Fig.4.
Install the catch plate for the sectional door. The catch plate is
mounted in the middle of the door leaf. In the sectional doors with
the top panel cut, the leaf catch plate is delivered with the door.
Fig.4.7
Acceptable installation of a sectional door leaf catch plate; fixing
elements are not delivered with the drive.
The location of door catch openings applies to doors
produced by the Manufacturer, for other doors this
height should be determined separately.
Fig. 5-6.
Mark out installation holes for the header catch - in the header.Fix
the header catch to the header 20-150[mm] above the shaft or
above the door leaf catch plate (as offered by a free installation
space). Fix the metal slide rail to the catch with the "L" bolt. Fix
the drive to the slide rail with a "K" catch. Tighten with a 2[Nm]
torque. Fix the drive catch as close to the engine as possible, if
there is enough space.
Note: Make sure the slide rail is levelled.
Make sure that the "S" slide rail suspension brackets are fixed well
to the ceiling. Fix the slide rail with the dedicated "J" metal suspen-
sion bracket.

the link to length as required).
Fig. 3.2e.
Adjust the cable tension to ensure that the bolt is in the proper
position after the door has been opened with the drive.
Fig. 7.2.
In SSj doors, additional connection profile and assembly acces-
sories should be applied. The proper length of the connected
elements should be selected during installation. Additional con-
nection profile and assembly accessories are not included in the
standard equipment of the drive.
Fig.8.
Fasten the coupling cord. The cord should be fastened at the
height below 1800 [mm] from the floor. Unlock the drive by pull-
ing the cord, attempt to open and close the door by hand. Make
sure there is no resistance between the door panel and the drive
guide. To open the garage door in a blackout the drive must be
unlocked with the cable. The drive is provided with a function of
the hoist disengagement with a cable. Pull the cable to unlock the
garage door drive. To reengage the drive shift the lever, the cable
is fixed on, back to the original position. When the garage door is
not fitted with a wicket door, an external unblocking mechanism is
recommended.
Fig.9.
Mount a door leaf catch plate on the door and the "Rs" unlocking.
Connect the door leaf with the drive by means of the connection
profile.
[C000452] Verify that there is no risk of the drive unit
unlocking cable snagging on any protruding vehicle
parts (e.g. roof railings).
[D000149] 13.2. PHOTOCELLS CIRCUIT DIAGRAM
Photocells connection to the control panel is presented in fig.20.
[D000172] 13.3. BELL-PUSH CIRCUIT DIAGRAM
Bell-push connection to the control panel is presented in fig.25.
[B000197] 13.4. CIRCUIT DIAGRAM FOR RADIO RECEIVER
Radio receiver connection to the control panel is presented in fig. 30.
[D000687] 13.5. WARNING LAMP CONNECTION DIAGRAM
The diagram for connecting the warning lamp to the control panel is shown in
fig. 35.
[D000159] 13.6. DRIVE UNIT ADJUSTMENT
Having completed the installation, verify the movement of the drive unit and the
overload switch function. When the door encounters an obstacle, it should stop
and reverse.
Caution! Danger.
Make sure that the drive interrupts the opening operation if the door is loaded
with a 20 [kg] mass fixed in the middle of the bottom door edge.
Caution! Danger.
Movement parameters of the door should be regulated in line with the Installa-
tion & Operation Manual.

Assembly and Operating Instructions – Drive unit for garage doors INTRO
• [C000453] Do a functional test of the overload switch and the
optical sensor strip. The door must stop and reverse when the door
leaf touches any object 80 [mm] in diameter at the height of 50
[mm] when standing on the ground.
Caution! Danger.
• [C000454] Do a functional test of the photocells. The door must
stop and reverse when the photocell beam is interrupted.
• [B000208] Measure the force at the closing edge. Verify that the
force restriction meets the specifications of PN-EN 12453 Annex
A. In accordance with the PN-EN 12453 standard, the
dynamic force of the main closing edge cannot exceed
400 [N], while the duration of dynamic force applica-
tion should not exceed 750 [ms].
Caution! Danger.
• [C000450] Each time the overload rate is adjusted (which ap-
plies to drive units with adjustable overload rate), verify that the
force limit meets the specifications of PN-EN 12453 Annex A.
In accordance with the PN-EN 12453 standard, the dy-
namic force of the main closing edge cannot exceed
400 [N], while the duration of dynamic force applica-
tion should not exceed 750 [ms].
[D000689] 13.7. OVERLOAD ADJUSTMENT
When end positions are adjusted, the drive unit adjusts the overload rate (the
overload rate may be adjusted manually, see the controller manual).
• [C000455] Set the force and sensitivity of the overload protector
in accordance with the drive unit Installation Manual (applies to
drive units with overload adjustment).
The set overload protector force should be the minimal force re-
quired for the door to perform a complete opening / closing cy-
cle. The overload sensitivity setting is crucial for providing pro-
tection against accidents or crushing of elements located within
the opening. In accordance with the PN-EN 12453 standard, the
dynamic force of the main closing edge cannot exceed 400 [N],
while the duration of dynamic force application should not exceed
750 [ms].
• Caution! Danger.
Caution! Danger.
• [C000456] Adjust the door pressure and thrust to prevent the risk
of personal injury and damage to property.
Caution!
[D000668] Failure to comply may result in severe in-
juries due to crushing by the door or other hazards.
[C000008] 13.8. MANUAL CONTROL BUTTONS
Manual control buttons are installed:
• in a place where the operator will have an unobstructed view of the door
and its surroundings,
• in a place where the device cannot be turned on unintentionally,
• away from moving parts,
• at a height of at least 1.5 m.
