h) Using the DJ microphone
• Set the volume level and the sound of the microphone input as already described in „Volume control."
• If you want to make an announcement, press the switch DJ MIC (11) (display DJ MIC ON (12) is lit) and talk. As
long as you speak into the microphone, the mixing desk reduces the volume of the other channels by the value
set with the control TALK (14).
• Press the DJ MIC switch (11) again after making the announcement to deactivate the function. The corresponding
display DJ MIC ON (12) goes off.

Handling

• Never plug the power plug into a mains socket immediately after the device was taken from a cold to a warm
environment. The resulting condensation water may damage the device.
Allow the device to reach room temperature before connecting it. Wait until the condensation water has
evaporated.
• Never pull the mains plug by pulling the cable from the socket. Always only use the thus provided grip area.
• Remove the mains plug from the electrical outlet if the device is not in use for a longer period of time.
• For safety reasons always pull the mains plug from the socket during a thunderstorm.
• Do not listen to excessively loud music for long periods of time. This may damage your hearing.
