By purchasing the Digital Multimeter VC 240 you have acquired an
environmental-friendly 3 1 / digit state-of-the-art measuring instrument.

It is environmental-friendly, because it uses a powerful capacitor
instead of batteries or accumulators for its powersupply. The capacitor
is buffered via the solar cell and recharged by 9 to 12V DC or AC or by
230V AC. Then, the measuring cables are used as the charging cables.
The individual measuring ranges can be directly set. A special feature is
the "Low Impedance" button by means of which voltages known as
phantom voltages can be suppressed when measuring alternating vol-
tages.
The measuring instrument and lines are tested for their safety
according to EN61010-1:2001 (=DIN VDE 411/part 1) or
EN61010-2-31. Moreover, they are EMC tested and meet the
requirements of applicable European and national regulations.
Proof of conformity has been submitted and can be obtained
from the manufacturer.
To maintain the specifications and to ensure risk-free operation, the
