10.1 Teaching in at the System with the
Cube
The wall thermostat is taught in and configured in combi-
nation with the Cube via the local software. The functions
described in chapter 17 are then available via the local
software. The configuration menu of the wall thermostat
(„Menu/Mode") button is deactivated in this case.
In order to teach in at the Cube, proceed as follows:
• Start device detection via the local software. For first
setting please use the install wizard. So you will attain
to „Geräteerkennung". If you already use EasyHome
control, you will find „Geräteerkennung" via menu item
„Meine Geräte".
• Perform a long press of the „OK" key on the wall thermostat.
• The antenna symbol appears in the display and the wall
thermostat appears in the software.
• Now you can assign the wall thermostat to a room.
• The wall thermostat is now integrated in the system and
can be configured in the software of the respective room.
When networking with the Cube, all individually pro-
grammed settings of the wall thermostat will be lost.
As soon as the wall thermostat has been taught in
on a gateway like the Cube, all data such as date,
time or week programme are transmitted to it via the
radio connection.
