• When the device is used in ex-areas of gas group IIB, the
clogging must not cause any conductive connection between the
electrode points [7-1]. Contaminations of the electrode [1-13],
e.g. by grease, point, glue, paper dust, etc. must be removed
with a suitable cleaning agent. Electrode [1-13] and high
voltage cable [1-11] must not immersed into cleaning agent!

10. Maintenance

• Disconnect the SATA anti-dust jet / X from the compressed air
circuit prior to all cleaning work, switch off the SATA anti-dust
power pack und disconnect it from the supply voltage!
• Repair and maintenance work may be effected
by electrically skilled personnel only.
• To ensure perfect function of the devices, the proper function of
the compressed air supply has to be checked on a regular basis.
• Risk of injury due to unexpected air outlet!
• Components must be carefully disassembled and mounted!
• Use neutral cleaning solution (pH value 6 to 8)!*
• Do not use acids, lyes, bases, pickling agents, unsuitable
regenerates or other aggressive cleaning solutions!*
• Immersing the SATA anti dust jet / X into cleaning agent
or using a spray gun washing machine is prohibited!*
• Risk of combustion!
The solvent must have completely evapo-
rated prior to further operation.
ATTENTION!
• Please clean the drillings with SATA cleaning brushes
and SATA nozzle cleaning needles only. The use of
other tools may cause damages and malfunction. Recom-
mended accessories: cleaning kit Art. No. 64030.
• Never use ultrasonic cleaning systems –
damaged nozzles and surfaces!*
• The emission points [7-1] of the electrode
[1-13] must not be damaged.*
