Multi-point lock 819 with escape door function
The electric multi-point lock 819 requires a panic
fitting
· with split handle pin
· and door handles with bearing in the escutch-
eons, turning in both directions.
The length of the handle pins depends on
· the door leaf thickness,
· the door escutcheon thickness and
· the depth of engagement in the door handle
(Pic. 9).
The inner and outer handle pins are different and
are usually identified by stamped letters. The
screw-on part of the handle pin must be mounted
on the inside.

The multi-point lock 819 without escape door
function with door handles which can engage and
disengage on both sides requires a continuous,
non-split handle pin.
The length of the profile cylinder to be used arises
from the door leaf thickness and the door es-
cutcheon thicknesses (fittings) on the inside and
outside.
The key withdrawal position (Pic. 10) of the
locking lever may not exceed 30° at the bottom
on the left or right.
