2 Description
2.1 Application purpose
The 3R55 Modular Polycentric Knee Joint is to be used exclusively for the prosthetic fitting of
lower limb amputees.
2.2 Field of application
Field of application according to the Ottobock Mobility System MOBIS:
Recommended for amputees with mobility grade 3 and 4 (non-restricted outdoor
walkers and non-restricted outdoor walkers with especially rigorous demands).
Approved for a patient weight of up to 125 kg / 275 lbs.
By means of the Hydraulic Swing Phase Control the gait pattern has been optimised, especially
with active patients.
The Ottobock MOBIS is not intended to be used as a guide to obtaining reimbursement
for prosthetic components in the USA.
