This section describes the commissioning of the telephone. After a successful commission-
ing, you can make calls. You can customise your telephone using the PC configuration
described at the end of this section.

Connecting the COMfortel 1200 IP

Note: To integrate the telephone into an existing network, please contact
the system administrator responsible for this. Making changes to an exist-
ing network can cause considerable malfunctions.
Requirements
– The network cable delivered with the telephone
– If PoE is not supported: an additional network cable and an PoE Injector as
adapter between the network mains outlet and the Ethernet cable
