Commissioning the Telephone

1.
Insert the plug of the connection cable
included in the package, as shown
below in
Fig.
with
on the bottom of the
telephone.

Guide the cable to the outside through
one of the cable channels. See
Fig. 4: Connection

Turn the telephone around again.

Insert the other plug on the connection
cable into an analogue jack connected
to the PBX or in the analogue
connection jack provided by the
network provider.

Required Settings for Operating the
Auerswald PBX
The telephone can display the existing
information for an incoming call on the
display and save it in the caller list (CLIP).
This includes the telephone number and
name of the caller as well as the date and
time of the call.
Note: A name saved in the PBX
(for example,
memory)
is
corresponding entries in the telephone
book on that telephone.
