1. Open the bonnet and remove the dust cover.
2. Remove the outer element, clean the element and
the inside of the housing and reassemble.
3. When reassembling, ensure that the dust cover is
fitted with the UP mark (arrow) pointing upwards.
Do not remove the inner element.

Cleaning with compressed air

Use the special spark plug spanner to remove the
spark plug and check whether there are any carbon
deposits on the spark plug needle. In this case, re-
