• Do not use dull or damaged cutting discs. Unsharpened or
misaligned cutting disc teeth create a narrow cut causing
excessive friction, jamming of the cutting disc and back recoil.
• Set the cutting depth and tilt angle clamps securely
before making the cut. If the saw settings change during
cutting this can cause jamming and back kickback
• Be particularly careful when making plunge cuts in partitions. The
cutting disc may cut other objects not visible from the outside,
causing rear recoil.
Shield functions
• Check before each use that the guard is correctly fitted. Do not use
the saw if the guard does not move freely and does not
immediately cover the saw. Never attach or leave the guard with
the saw uncovered. If the saw is accidentally dropped, the guard
may be bent. Check to ensure that the guard moves freely and
does not touch the saw or any other part for each set angle and
depth of cut.
• Check the function and condition of the guard return spring. If the
guard and spring are not working properly, they must be repaired
before use. The guard may be slow to operate due to damaged
parts, sticky deposits, or build-up of debris.
• Ensure that the saw table does not move during 'plunge cuts' when
the set angle of the circular saw is not 90°. Lateral movement of
the circular saw will result in jamming and likely back kickback.
• Always observe that the guard covers the saw before placing the
saw on the workbench or floor. An unprotected saw edge will
cause the saw to reverse from behind cutting anything in its path.
Be aware of the time it takes for the circular saw to stop when
switched off.
Additional safety instructions
• Do not use cutting discs that are damaged or deformed.
• Only use cutting discs recommended by the manufacturer that
meet the requirements of EN 847-1.
• Do not use cutting discs that do not have carbide-tipped teeth.
• Use personal protective equipment such as:
➢ hearing protectors to reduce the risk of hearing loss;
➢ eye protection;
➢ respiratory protection to reduce the risk of inhaling harmful dust;
➢ gloves for handling cutting discs and other rough and sharp materials
(cutting discs should be held by the hole whenever possible);
• Connect a dust extraction system when cutting wood.
• Safe working
• It is important to select a cutting disc according to the type of
material to be cut.
• Do not use the chainsaw to cut materials other than wood or wood-
based materials.
• Do not use the chainsaw without the guard or when it is blocked.
• The floor in the area where the machine is working should be well
maintained with no loose material or protrusions.
• Adequate lighting of the work area must be provided.
• The employee operating the machine should be properly trained in
the use, operation and handling of the machine.
• Use only sharp cutting discs.
• Pay attention to the maximum speed marked on the cutting disc.
• Ensure that the parts used comply with the manufacturer's
recommendations.
• If the saw is equipped with a laser, replacement with another type
of laser is not permitted and repairs should be carried out by a
service centre.
• Before connecting the chainsaw to a power socket, always make
sure that the mains voltage matches the voltage indicated on the
machine's rating plate.
• Before connecting the saw, always check the power cable and
have it replaced by an authorised workshop if it is damaged.
• The power cord of the chainsaw should always be on the safe side
not exposed to accidental damage by the operating power tool.
• Do not allow bystanders, especially children, to touch the power
tool or electrical cord and keep them out of the work area.
ATTENTION: The device is intended for indoor operation. Despite
the inherently safe design, the use of safety measures and
additional protective measures, there is always a risk of residual
injury during operation.

CONSTRUCTION AND PURPOSE
The circular saw is a hand-held power tool with Class II insulation.
The machine is driven by a single-phase commutator motor, the
speed of which is reduced via a gear transmission. With the
appropriate accessories, it can be used for rip-cutting and cross-
cutting wood, furniture chipboard, panels, plywood, etc. wood-based
materials. This tool combines in part the functionality of a circular saw
and a plunge-cutting machine, allowing plunge cuts to be made to a
specified depth in the above materials. This type of power tool can be
used for cutting to size along straight lines thanks to the possibility of
working with guide strips.
Its areas of use include extensive finishing work. The ability to work
dust-free with a hoover facilitates work in already finished areas.
The machine is designed for cutting and dry working only. Do not
use corundum or diamond discs with the machine. Do not misuse
the power tool.
