4-5. Output Cable Specifi cations

Th ese are the specifi cations for the output cables connected to the output connector. Th e
output cables must be obtained by the customer.

• Use a shielded cable.
• The output signals use voltage-diff erential
line driver output. Use a twisted pair wire with
thickness of at least 28 AWG.
Set the supply voltage so that it satisfi es the specifi ed value in the
power supply input terminal section (MJ632 output connector section
or cable section).
Specifi ed value range: 4.75 to 5.25 V DC
• Make the cable length as short as possible to prevent noise from
entering.
• When using a twisted pair wire with thickness of 28 AWG or higher,
make the length 30 m or shorter.
Note
The maximum cable length may vary depending on the cable that is
used (type, thickness, and other factors).
• Connect the shielded wires of the cable to a connector case.
• Connect the shielded wires to the frame ground.
