4-1. Cable Extension
Th e cable length between the head unit and interpolator should not exceed 10 m.

Provide the power supply below for the output connector or cable.

Turn on the power for the MJ632.
2.
Turn on the power for the receiver.
Notes
• Be sure that a power supply with suffi cient power capacity is used.
• When supplying power directly from the receiver, be sure to also take into consideration
the receiver start and MJ632 signal output timing in usage of the power supply.
4-3. Mounting the Interpolator
Note
Connect a ground wire to the surface on which the MJ632 will be mounted.
Failure to make a ground connection may result in worsened noise resistance.

• No signals are output for about 0.5 seconds aft er the
power is turned on.
• Signal A may be output when the power is turned
off depending on the stop state of the head unit and
the characteristics of the power supply that is used.
Th is signal can cause a malfunction in the receiver.
To prevent this from happening, be sure that the
following procedures are used to turn the power on
and off .

2.
Turn off the power for the MJ632.
