3-3. Movement Direction and Output Phase Relationship

Th e phase relationship between AB quadrature signals is shown in the table below. Th e
phase relationship varies depending on the travel direction and polarity.
Th e polarity can be confi rmed based on the model name of your product. (See "2-2. Model
Name".)
When the head unit was moved in the right direction (see fi gure below):

3-4. Reference Point

Th e MJ632 converts the reference point signals detected by the head unit to a reference
point signals in synchronization with the AB quadrature signals and outputs them.
In the reference point output signal width, the synchronized reference point signals are
output while both the signal A and signal B are at the Hi level.
