Maintenance

WARNING!
Risk of death by electrocution!
Do not open the housings of the devices under any circ-

umstances.
Work on the inverter and the monitoring unit may only be

performed by qualified personnel in accordance with the
legal regulations.
Steca products do not require any particular maintenance.
There are no components in the Steca inverter, control unit
and remote displays which require maintenance to be carried
out by the installer or user.
Any work on the inverter, the control unit and remote dis-
plays must always be performed by a registered electrical
contractor and in accordance with all valid legislation.
The casings of the inverter and control unit must never be
opened for safety reasons.
The Steca products have an extensive service life. The compo-
nents are made from recyclable materials. When the product
reaches the end of its service life, it must be disposed of
according to current regulations and recycling practices.
Two LR06 (or AA) batteries provide power to the remote dis-
play (StecaGrid Remote). When the batteries are exhausted,
they should be disposed of as minor chemical waste.

10 Guarantee terms

Guarantee terms for products of Steca Elektronik GmbH
1. Material or manufacturing defects
This guarantee applies only to manufacturing and material
defects, insofar as these can be attributed to bad workman-
ship on behalf of Steca.
Steca reserves the right to choose to repair, modify or replace
the products in question.
2. General information
The customer has  years warranty for all products according
to the European legislation.
For this Steca product we grant a voluntary guarantee of 5
years beginning with the date of invoice towards the specia-
lised trade. This voluntary guarantee is valid for products that
