Error messages
Error message:
Err 1
Meaning:
Essential hardware is defective or missing.
Action:
Notify the installer.
Error message:
Err 2
Meaning:
Hardware which was previously present is missing or
defective.
Explanation:
The inverters turn off at insufficient levels of solar energy.
The StecaGrid Control no longer detects them as being
present. However, when they reactivate the next day, their
presence is detected again by the control unit. If a inverter
that has been detected previously is not detected after 48
hours, the control unit generates an error message.
Action:
a) If this condition is accidental, a fault may have arisen in
the panels, wiring or inverter. Notify the installer.
b) If an inverter has been removed intentionally, replace it
with a new one as soon as possible.
c) The error message disappears when the system is turned
off and then on again.
Error message:
Err 3 to 8.
Meaning:
Internal fault
Action:
Notify the installer.
Error message:
Err 9
Meaning:
More than 16 inverters have been connected.
Explanation:
If too many inverters are connected to the communication
bus, satisfactory operation can no longer be guaranteed.
Action:
Reduce the number of inverters to a maximum of 3,600
Watts AC power and connect the remaining inverters
to their own control unit (see also 'Installation of the
StecaGrid Remote for two or three control units StecaGrid
Control'.)
Error message:
Err 10
Meaning:
More than four sensors have been connected.
Action:
Reduce the number of sensors to a maximum of two sun-
light sensors and two temperature sensors.
Error message:
Err 11
Meaning:
The total AC power exceeds 3,600 Watts.
Explanation:
The system is designed for AC current at a maximum of 16
Ampere.
Action:
Reduce the number of inverters to a maximum of 3,600
Watts AC power and connect the remaining inverters
to their own control unit (see also 'Installation of the
StecaGrid Remote for two or three control units StecaGrid
Control'.)
