Changing system configuration

WARNING!

Do not open the housings of the devices under any circ-

umstances.
Work on the inverter and the monitoring unit may only be

performed by qualified personnel in accordance with the
legal regulations.
The StecaGrid inverter system can be extended by adding con-
trol units and remote displays whenever the user needs to.
6.1 Adding an extra Remote Display StecaG-
rid Remote to an existing Control Unit
StecaGrid Control.
• Follow the instructions in 'Installation of the StecaGrid
Remote' and StecaGrid Remote 'Operation'.
All the kWh information that has already been gene-

rated is kept and further added to.
The kWh/period information is regenerated from the

moment the StecaGrid Remote unit is installed.

Adding and/or replacing inverters

Turn the system off.


If the existing DIN rails are too short, fit rails of ade-

quate length.

Add the new StecaGrid 300 or 500 to the left hand end

of the array. Ensure that the databus and AC connec-
tors are installed correctly. If a single inverter needs to
be replaced, it is preferable to install the new inverter
in the same position as the old one.
NOTE
1. After start-up the inverters are each renumbered relative
to their position from the right hand end of the array. This
ensures that inverter numbers stay the same as far as possib-
le.
. If the inverters are connected when the system is under
power (not recommended), the new system configuration
will become active within one minute. This can lead to error
messages at a later stage.
