Insert the transmitter , the protruding part of the PCB
fits into the bottom of the control unit casing. Switch
on the StecaGrid Control at the main switch.
5 5
Open the StecaGrid Remote  (the receiver) and insert
the display .
6 6
Insert the batteries .
'rF 1' appears in the display after the display test to
confirm that the receiver module is within range of
the transmitter and that a communication link has
been established.
After this, the three system configuration displays
will appear: the number of sunlight sensors, tempe-
rature sensors and inverters that are found during
the system scan.
'irrad';
'temp';
'power': the number of inverters present, 2 in
this example.
After this, the display switches to 'ENERGY'.
7 7
Now take the StecaGrid Remote to the location where
you plan to install it .
8 8
Press the button briefly.
New information is now collected. The condition of
the antenna symbol indicates, whether or not trans-
mission has been successful: if the symbol flashes,
no valid information has been received; if the sym-
bol lights up and stays lit, the data link is functioning
correctly and the unit can be installed.
If a data link cannot be established, moving the unit
by as little as 10 to 20 cm can improve reception.
If this does not help, select a location closer to the
transmitter.
NOTE
The transmission range of the system has been designed
for use in typical residential buildings. Walls or floors with a
high signal absorbency (concrete) can limit the transmission
range.
