Move the ventilation device (5) on the backflow preven-
ter (2) to a horizontal position.
The accumulated wastewater can flow back from the
pressure pipe into the system tank.
Remove and clean the backflow preventer (2)
Undo screws (1) and (3), push out the backflow preven-
ter(2) from the side and clean it.
Remove the flap catch (4).
Pull the non-return flap off, check for wear, remove any
blocking parts if necessary and flush through.
Fit the parts again in reverse order.
Install backflow preventer (2)
Make sure that the ventilation device (5) is in a vertical
position as shown.
Carry out a functional check (see "Functional check of the
system").
Record the maintenance in the log book.
