Installation
DANGER
Risk of serious injury or death due to electric shock.
If live parts are touched, there is risk of life-threatening injuries.
Ensure that the system is voltage-free before installing the device.
Ensure that the system is secured and cannot be reactivated by other
persons.
Ensure that installation work for the electric connection of the device is
carried out by an electrician, and in compliance with electrical
engineering regulations.
CAUTION
Risk of injury due to pressurised liquid
If installation, removal or maintenance work is not carried out correctly, there
is a risk of burns and other injuries at the connection points, if pressurised
hot water or hot steam suddenly escapes.
Ensure proper installation, removal or maintenance work.
Ensure that the system is de-pressurised before performing installation,
removal or maintenance work at the connection points.
CAUTION
Risk of burns on hot surfaces
Hot surfaces in heating systems can cause burns to the skin.
Wear protective gloves.
Please place appropriate warning signs in the vicinity of the device.
CAUTION
Risk of injury due to falls or bumps
Bruising from falls or bumps on system components during installation.
Wear personal protective equipment (helmet, protective clothing,
gloves, safety boots).
Note!
Confirm that installation and commissioning have been carried out
correctly in the installation and commissioning certificate. This action is
a prerequisite for the making of warranty claims.
Have the Reflex Factory Customer Service carry out
commissioning and the annual maintenance.

Proceed as follows:
1.
Upon receipt of the goods, check the shipment for
completeness and
possible transport damage.
2.
Document any damage.
3.
Contact the forwarding agent to register your complaint.
6.2
Preparatory work
Preparing the connection of the device to the system:
Barrier-free access to the system.
Frost-free, well-ventilated room.
Room temperature > 5 - 30 °C.
Water make-up water connection.
DN 15 according to DIN EN 1717.
Electrical connection.
230 V~, 50 Hz, 8 A with upstream RCD (tripping current: 0.03 A).
Preparing for wall mounting:
1.
Mark drilling holes on the wall using a spirit level
2.
Drill the holes.
3.
Secure the wall mount on the wall.
Note!
A wall mounting using the wall mount is required.
Installation by freely suspending it on the pipes can result in damage.
6.3
Execution
CAUTION
Risk of injury due to falls or stumbling
Bruising caused by falls or stumbling over cables or pipes during installation.
Wear personal protective equipment (helmet, protective clothing, safety
gloves, safety shoes).
Note!
The screw connections at the device may loosen when the device is
moved to the place of use.
Prior to use of the device check the screw connections for tight
seating and leak tightness.
Note!
Avoid leaks at the connections.
When connecting the device to the facility system, ensure that the
connections for degassing and make-up are not twisted.
Proceed as follows:
1.
Remove the lid of the mains Greenbox.
2.
Attach the Greenbox to the previously installed wall mount.
When doing so, follow the instructions provided with the wall mount.
3.
Remove the plugs from the flows and returns, both at the top and the
bottom.
4.
Fit the supplied ball valves for flow and return in accordance with the
device depiction.
The purpose of these is to enable trouble-free maintenance, repair or
disassembly of the Greenbox.
5.
Connect the flow and return on the heat generator side to the bottom of the
Greenbox.
6.
Connect the flow and return flow of the consumer side, e.g. using a pump
group or a Sinusverteiler manifold to the top of the Greenbox.
Note!
If you stand in front of the Greenbox, the flow is always on the left side
while the return is always on the right.
7.
Install the expansion vessel using the return ball valve connection to the
heat generator that has been provided for this purpose.
8.
Connect the drinking water connection for the water make-up.
9.
If a heat treatment system is fitted, insert the water treatment cartridge
(Fillsoft cartridge) in the water treatment system (Fillsoft).
10. Fill the system.
11. Vent the system.
12. Start commissioning using the app.
13. Once commissioning is complete, a green LED lights up in the control
panel.
14. Replace the lid.
