Hot steam escapes during operation. Keep a sufficient distance so that your body, head or hands do not
come into contact with it. Use our SPRING GRIPS pot holders or gloves, if necessary.
- Transport the pressure cooker with extreme caution only while it is under pressure. Hold it by the side handles
only. Use our SPRING GRIPS pot holders or gloves, if necessary. Never carry the pressure cooker by the lid handle.
- Never open the lid by force. Always release the pressure first according to chapter 8 Steam release variants. The
safety valve must be sunk before you release the lid lock.
- Always shake the pressure cooker before opening the lid to remove any air bubbles and to prevent hot food from
splashing out.
- Do not use the pressure cooker if it or its components are damaged, dropped or deformed. Do not make any
changes to the safety-related components and never try to repair the pressure cooker in any way. Contact your
authorized dealer whenever the product is in need of repairs.

Prior to the first use
- Remove all packaging materials.
- Clean all parts using warm water and a mild detergent. Then, rinse them with clear water and dry them off carefully.
Do not immerse the lid in water.
- Insert the sealing ring correctly into the underside of the lid.
- Your pressure cooker is now ready for use.

Notices for use
- The pressure cooker is suitable for all hob types, including induction.
- In order to ensure that the pressure cooker does not overheat or boil dry unnoticed, cooking must take place
under direct supervision only.
- Use the highest temperature setting exclusively under direct supervision and only for a short time until the required
pressure is reached. Also follow the instructions for use of your stove.
- Adjust the quantity to be prepared to the size of the pressure cooker.
- When using a gas hob, adjust the flame so that the tips of the flame do not extend beyond the bottom of the pot.
- The pressure cooker becomes hot during longer cooking time. Touch it by the handles only and use our SPRING
GRIPS pot holders or gloves, if necessary.
- Place the hot pressure cooker on adequately heat-resistant surfaces only.
- Do not store acidic or salty foods in the pressure cooker.
- The screws of the side handles can loosen over time with regular use. Ensure that they are always tightened.
