Introduction

Thank you for having chosen a product made by SPRING. The pressure cooker
complies with the highest safety standards. Nevertheless, it must be operated with care.
For this reason, we ask you to read and follow the instructions carefully. They contain
the information required for a safe use. Therefore:
Persons who have not read and understood the instructions should not use
the pressure cooker. Make sure that all persons who use this product have
had proper instruction. These instructions should always be available for
referral and should be passed on if the product changes hands.

Intended use

Only use the pressure cooker for cooking food in household quantities.
- The pressure cooker is not suitable for frying or deep-frying under pressure.
- The pressure cooker is not suitable for use in the oven, microwave or grill.
- Do not prepare compotes or applesauce in the pressure cooker.
- Never use the pressure cooker without adding liquid.

Safety instructions

Although the pressure cooker features high quality and safety standards, injuries or damage due to operating errors or
improper use cannot be ruled out. Therefore, please note the safety recommendations marked by the following symbols:

- Read these instructions carefully before the first use of the product.
- Operate the pressure cooker under direct supervision and for the intended purpose only, as described in chapter
2 Intended use.
Caution!
This product may not be used by children. This product may be used by persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning the use of the product in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Cleaning
and user maintenance shall not be made by children. Children are not allowed to play with the product.
- Keep the pressure cooker out of reach of children when it is in operation or as long as it is still hot.
- Only use the components included in the scope of delivery, as only then a safe handling can be guaranteed, and
only replace them with original spare parts.
- Do not make any changes to the safety-relevant components.
- Select a cooking zone or cooktop that matches the bottom diameter of the pressure cooker or is smaller.
- Observe the MIN and MAX marking. Always add as much food and liquid as is necessary to reach at least the
MIN marking. Never fill food and liquid into the pot beyond the MAX marking. Caution: Take into account that
some foods can foam or swell strongly, such as rice or dried vegetables. In this case, only fill the pot halfway at
the most.
