8.2 Cleaning of the extractor fan
WARNING! Disconnect the appliance from the mains before you clean
or maintain it (fuse box of your household power supply)!
WARNING! Ignoring the cleaning and maintenance instructions will
cause an increased risk of fire.
The extractor fan must be cleaned inside and outside regularly at least once a
month.
1. Clean the housing with a soft cloth and a suitable detergent; always carry out the
movements in the direction of the surface finish of the material.
2. When you clean or replace the grease filters or the carbon filters also clean all
visible components on the bottom of the appliance with a mild, non- acrid and
fat-dissolving detergent.
3. Do not damage the grid of metal-made grease filters. The colour of the metal
surface may change due to frequent cleaning as well as the use of aggressive
detergents. Such changes do not influence the capacity of the appliance and are
no reason for complaint.
4. Do not use any abrasive detergents or vinegar cleaners.
5. Do not use a steam cleaner. RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
