In extraction mode, the intake air is led through an exhaust hose to the outside.
For this purpose, an exhaust shaft or an outwardly leading exhaust pipe must be
available in your house / flat.
If your appliance is equipped with a carbon filter, you must remove the carbon
filter before you operate the appliance in the extraction mode!
If you wish to operate the integrated extractor fan in extraction mode, always
observe the
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
chapter 2.!
WARNING! Do not lead the exhaust air into a chimney which is used
for extracting exhaust air of appliances operated by gas or other
combustibles.
5.5. Operation of the extractor fan
Read the complete instruction manual before you operate the appliance for the
first time. Strictly observe the safety guidelines!
Remove the complete protective film! Clean the extractor fan before the first use
to remove any residue from the protective film, etc. (s. chapter 8.2 C

WARNING! When the induction hob is in operation, the parts of the
integrated extractor fan which are adjacent to the cooking zones may also
become hot. RISK OF BURNS!
WARNING! Never place objects of any kind on the integrated extractor
fan of the appliance.
WARNING! Never place objects of any kind between or into the
openings of the top cover of the integrated extractor fan. RISK OF
ELECTRIC SHOCK! RISK OF DAMAGE!
NOTICE! If you want to open the lid of the cookware slightly during
cooking, open it at the point which is closest to the extractor fan. Only
this enables an optimal extraction power.
