Danger zone

Persons who are in the danger zone of the lifting device can sustain life-threatening injuries.
• Ensure that no unauthorised persons are present in the danger zone.
• To prevent the load from shearing off, ensure that collisions with the
surroundings are avoided.
The danger zone of the lifting device includes the following areas:
• The area directly under the lifting device and the load.
• The immediate vicinity of the hoist and the load.
• The working area of the means of transport used.

The lifting device must not be operated under the following conditions:
• Use in potentially explosive atmospheres.
• Environment with acidic or alkaline media.
• Use above 1600 m above sea level (the required operating vacuum cannot be achieved).

Risk of injury due to exposed suction points and compressed air lines
Do not look, listen or reach into suction points and compressed air lines.
Do not bring exposed suction points and compressed air lines close to eyes
or body orifices.
Do not place the suction plates on the body.
Pointed objects
Damage to vacuum hoses caused by sharp objects
Always ensure that the vacuum hoses cannot be damaged by
sharp objects.
Hazardous gases, vapours or dusts are sucked in and distributed
by the vacuum generator.
Breathing difficulties!
Before starting work, ensure that the ambient air drawn in
does not contain any hazardous substances.
Ensure that there are no hazardous substances on the load
that could be sucked in.
