Ensure that you take regular breaks.

Ensure that the lifting device cannot be operated by unauthorised
persons.
•
Ensure that the lifting device cannot be used during maintenance or
servicing work.
•
Clearly define the responsibilities for the various activities on the lifting device.
•
Ensure that responsibilities are adhered to.
•
When handling unknown loads, carry out tests to ensure that safe
operation is guaranteed:
– After switching off the power supply, the load is held for a further five
minutes (exception: operation in accordance with EN 13155).
– The load has sufficient inherent stability so that it cannot be
damaged during handling.
Country-specific regulations for the operator

Observe the country-specific regulations on accident prevention,
safety testing and environmental protection.
•
Do not use the lifting device until you have ensured that the lifting gear
(crane, chain hoist, etc.) in which it is installed complies with the country-
specific regulations and safety regulations.
