ADJUSTMENTS FOR
MECHANICAL HAND-WOUND
MOVEMENTS
Your Mille Miglia watch is equipped with
a mechanical hand-wound chrono-
graph movement. When fully wound,
it has a power reserve of between
40 and 60 hours, depending on the
model. If the watch has stopped, wind
it manually before wearing it by turning
the crown forwards.
Crown in position –
normal running and manual
winding
The watch is wound by turning the
crown clockwise. It is fully wound when
the crown locks. Do not attempt to
wind a mechanical watch beyond the
locking point, since this might damage
the movement. It is prefer able to wind
it once a day.

Crown in position –
setting the time
To set the time, pull the crown out to
position 2 and turn it up to the desired
hour. Then push the crown back in to
position 1.
REMARKS AND WARNINGS
– Some models are equipped with a
screw-lock crown. Before making
any adjustments or any manual
winding, unscrew the crown in a
counter- clockwise direction.
– After each new operation, the crown
must at all costs be pushed or
screwed (depending on the model)
right back in against the case in
order to guarantee the watch's water
resistance.
– These operations must not under
any circumstances be performed in
water, since this might damage the
movement.

FUNCTIONS

The following functions are available,
depending on the model.
Chronograph function
The chronograph hand enables you
to read off the seconds, by referring
to the graduated scale around the dial
circumference. The chronograph is
operated via two pushers :
Upper Pusher [M] : start / stop
Lower Pusher [N] : resets the chrono-
graph hand and the hour and minute
counters.
Split-second function
Its split-second function makes it pos-
sible to measure intermediate or split
times. On demand, the additional
" split-second " hand stops for as long
as it takes to read off a time before
" catching up " with the other seconds
hand. To perform the adjustments, the
chronograph must be in operation.
