3.9.4 HYCON-ID
HYCON-ID is an optional software for barcode driv-
en data management. For using HYCON-ID a bar-
code scanner is recommended. The HYCON-ID mode
provides access to the configuration and activation
of the data transfer. Please consult the HYCON-ID
User Manual for detailed information on the
HYCON-ID Software.
Touching the
Scanner icon from the Menu Set-
ting provides access to the Menu HYCON-ID. The
HYCON-ID Menu provides access to the following
options:
Configuration of the scanner
HYCON-ID data selection
Number of stored sampling data
(continued)
Configuration
of the Scanner
Touching the
scanner icon and then, the
Scanner Configuration icon provides access to the
Menu Scanner Configuration. In this menu the
three different scanner modes "OFF", "ON" and
"PRE" can be selected:
• OFF: The order of data to be scanned is displayed
by the instrument. The scanner does not
recognize the function of the scanned data. The
user needs to scan the barcodes in the order
given by the instrument.
• ON: The scanner recognizes the function of the
scanned data. The order of barcodes is not
relevant.
• PRE: Prior to scanning a functional barcode an ID
barcode is scanned. This allows identification of
the barcode function.
NOTE
For activation of the scanning mode the ON/OFF
icon
is set to ON (magenta).
