e) Checking the rudder settings

• First, put the transmitter into operation and then switch
on the receiver installation (see figure 8, pos. 3) with the
function switch.
Once you turn on the receiver installation, the
drive engine is not yet ready for operation. You
can first start the engine when the safety button
is pushed while the receiver installation is on
(see figure 8, pos. 6).
• Slide the trim slider for the elevator and fin unit (see fig-
ure 2, pos. 3 and 5) into central position and check the
position of the rudder flaps on the tail unit.
• If the elevator unit (1) is angled slightly upwards or
downwards, detach the fork head from the rudder horn
(see figure 5, pos. 5) and adjust the required length of
the link rods by twisting the fork head.
• The link rod of the fin unit (2) has to be adjusted according to the same scheme like the elevator unit if required.
Practical flying tips:
You can best see a slant of the rudder flaps (1 and 2) of you look at the model from behind at a distance.

f) Checking the rudder functions

• First start running the transmitter then the model. The safety button for the motor function may not be operated to
prevent accidental start-up.
• If you pull the control stick for the elevator and the fin unit downwards, the elevator unit must deflect upwards. In
flight, the landing gear is pressed downwards and the model ascends.
If the elevator reacts opposite to the function described above, you may change the direction of the elevator servo with
the reverse switch (see figure 2, pos. 7). There is a separate switch for each control channel. The elevator direction is
switched with the 2nd switch from the left (CH2).
