h) Checking the engine function

Charge the flight battery before performing an engine test and secure the model against rolling away. Also make sure
that no loose objects like paper or foils can be drawn in by the propeller.
Keep objects and body parts away from the propeller under all circumstances.
In order to perform the engine test, first activate the transmitter and then turn on the receiver unit on the model.
Attention important!
Before pushing the safety button at the model (see figure 8, pos. 6), ensure that the control lever for the
motor function (see figure 2, pos. 9) is in the bottom position "Motor off". If this is not the case, the propeller
will start up without delay when the safety key is pushed and may cause damage.
After you have checked or corrected the proper position of the control lever for the motor function, you can actuate
the safety button on the model. When you slowly move the control lever from the bottom-most position upwards, the
motor must start up and increase speed. The maximum motor power is reached when the control lever has been
pushed all the way up.
If the motor control reacts opposite to the function described above, you can change the function of the control lever
with the reverse switch (see figure 2, pos. 7). There is a separate switch for each control channel. The motor function
is switched with the third switch from the left (CH3).
After completing the test, first turn off the receiver unit and then the transmitter; remove the flight battery from the
model.

i) Mounting the wings

• Slide the right part of the wing (1) from the right into the
prepared slot in the fuselage until it snaps in place.
• Then the wing connection pipe is slid into the round bor-
ing in the wing (2).
• Then attach the left part of the wing on the wing con-
nection pipe and also slide it into the fuselage until it
snaps into place.
As the fit of the wings with the wing connection
pipe and the wing opening on the fuselage is
very tight, you do not need to additionally se-
cure the wings. This lets you quickly disassem-
ble the model for transport purposes.
• If the borings in the wings widen over time, apply a strip
of adhesive tape on the wing connection pipe to secure
the parts again.
