Settings reset performs the follow-
ing functions:
■ Connection settings revert back
to default.
■ Removes paired mobile users
and user phone numbers.
■ Removes all timers and location-
based events.

8 Mobile network connection

A mobile phone with the ThermoConnect
app is needed to use the ThermoConnect
as control element for an air- or water
heater. For more information
see "15.1 Install app on mobile phone"
on page 13.
The ThermoConnect contains a pre-in-
stalled SIM card which is covered by the
ThermoConnect subscription. An active
ThermoConnect subscription is required
to be able to use this device. A subscrip-
tion fee is necessary.
8.1 Subscription
The ThermoConnect includes a 3-month
subscription which starts automatically,
at initial start-up. A wireless network (2G
/ GPRS) must be available for the
ThermoConnect to connect to.
Within 3 months from initial start-up,

renew the subscription of the My We-
bastoConnect web service at
my.webastoconnect.com using the
mobile app and temporary login num-
ber.
Subscription includes unlimited use in
most of the European countries. When
subscription period nears expiration a re-
minder will be sent to the
ThermoConnect mobile app and by
email.
8.2 Subscription renewal
Check and renew the current subscrip-
tion expiration date from My Webasto-
Connect web service.
If service subscription is not re-
newed before expiration, service
will be suspended. To resume sus-
pended service usage, a
reactivation fee is applied. Re-
placement of pre-installed
ThermoConnect SIM card with an-
other operator's SIM card is not
allowed.
