1.1 Warranty and liability
Webasto shall not assume liability for de-
fects or damage that are the result of the
installation and operating instructions be-
ing disregarded.
This liability exclusion particularly applies
for:
■ installation by untrained personnel
■ improper use
■ repairs not carried out by a Webasto
service workshop
■ use of non-original spare parts
■ conversion of the unit without permis-
sion from Webasto

Improper operation, installation or
repair of Webasto heating and
cooling systems can cause fire or
the leakage of deadly carbon mon-
oxide leading to serious injury or
death.
In case of failure, replace the
ThermoConnect as a whole.
1.2 Intended use

The ThermoConnect is to be used for
controlling Webasto air- or water heaters
using any compatible mobile phone.
ThermoConnect is connected electrically
to the air- or water heater and gets its
commands using a 2G network connec-
tion. Commands are send by a mobile
phone with ThermoConnect app or a
webbrowser (My WebastoConnect).
ThermoConnect intended use:
■ Road vehicles.
■ Ships / vessels.
