3.11.3 Explanations for the special parameters

Parameter P01 "Gas pre-flow time"
Time between the switching on of the gas valve and the start of creeping.
This parameter depends on the selected program, thus for each program
the gas pre-flow time can be individually set.
Parameter P02 "Creep speed"
Setting of the creep speed.
This parameter is dependant on the selected program, thus for each
program the creep speed can be individually set.
Parameter P03 "Start current"
Energy after ignition, refers to the welding energy (100%). The value may be
set to a smaller value (setting less than 100) or greater value (setting greater
than 100). This parameter is dependant on the program selected, thus for
each program the start current can be set individually.
Parameter P04 "Downslope time"
Time needed for the downslope of the welding current to the downslope
current. This parameter is dependant on the program selected, thus for each
program the downslope can be set individually
Parameter P05 "Burn back time"
Time between the switching off of the wire feed motor and the switching off
of the power module. This parameter changes the burn back time
predefined for each program (characteristic curve value) and enables the
individual adaptation of the length of the stick out at the end of welding. A
higher value for the burn back time ensures a short stick out (as the wire
burns back longer) and a lower value ensures a longer stick out.
Parameter P06 "Downslope current"
Downslope current after the downslope time (P04) has elapsed. The
downslope current refers to the welding current (100%). This parameter is
dependant on the program selected, thus for each program the downslope
current can be set individually.
Parameter P07 "Gas post-flow time"
Time between the switching off of the power module (end of burn back time)
and the switching off of the gas valve. This parameter is dependant on the
program selected, thus for each program the gas post flow time can be set
individually
Parameter P08 "Double pulse amplitude"
Determines the percentaged highest and the basic value of the set welding
energy during double pulse welding.
Parameter P09 "Double pulse frequency"
Determines the double pulse frequency
for example, a parameter setting to 5 Hz means that the system alternates
between the high and low current pulse phase five times a second. A
parameter setting of 0.5 Hz means that the system alternates between the
highand low current pulse phase once every two seconds.
Parameter P10 "Spot time"
Welding duration in the "Spot" mode if the torch button is not released
earlier.
