protection type. This enables welding outside.
 REHM thermal protection
All REHM units are protected against over-heating by thermal sensor.
 Powerful 4-roller wire feed with digital regulation
Guaranteed secure wire feed, even with burners with long hoses.
The tandem system ensures even pressure of both roller pairs.
 REHM automatic creep
The unit reduces the wire feed speed until the arc has ignited. This ensures a
safe ignition process.
 REHM automatic burn back
Ensures that the user has a constant wire end length on ending the welding
process.
 REHM forced safety switch off
The REHM forced safety switch off prevents unintentional activation of the
welding voltage and thus offers maximum user protection.
 Primary stepped power element
REHM's patented transistor switch ensures for the best degree of effectiveness,
high dynamics and stability of the welding process and the greatest reliability.
 REHM SMC (Smart Machine Control)
The interlocking systems and regulatory mechanisms of the Smart Machine
Control (SMC) react effectively at all times to the changes in the arc and
constantly control the droplet transfer. SMC summarises all user settings,
characteristic curve allocations, default settings and actual measurements,
evaluates them and coordinates the regulatory accesses in accordance with the
routines specified by the welding experts.
 REHM SDI
REHM SDI gives the MEGAPULS 250 an electronically steplessly regulated
choke which guarantees excellent ignition properties and an even more stable
arc.
